Frequently Asked
Question

How much does dog training cost?
No two dogs are the same, which is why it’s difficult to give an exact quote without first evaluating your dog. Many clients assume they have an aggressive dog when it’s really just reactivity from a lack of confidence. I would never want to quote you for aggression training when that’s not what’s truly needed. This is exactly why we offer a free evaluation — so we can meet, assess your dog, and create the right plan together.

Yes, we do — but only when appropriate for the dog. Tools are just that: tools. Like a hammer, you can build a home with it or cause damage; it’s all about how it’s used. The power is in the handler, not the tool.

It’s about how the tools are introduced and why. For example, I train a lot of deaf dogs — how else would I communicate with them off-leash on a hike if they can’t hear me calling? The e-collar becomes a way to communicate, not punish. Deaf dogs deserve freedom too — and the right tools make that possible.

Absolutely! We train all dogs, all breeds, all ages, all sizes.

Dog training is about communication — it’s the dog’s language. Whether your pup is 8 weeks, 7 months, or 9 years old, big or small, they’ll never learn how to “human.” It’s my job to teach you how to “dog.”

Yes! We offer boarding for both training clients and the general public.

The rate is $60 per night, with half off each additional dog. Everyone is welcome.

We require all boarding dogs to be up to date on these core vaccinations:

  • Distemper/Parvo
  • Rabies
  • Bordetella

You can email vaccination records to info@kn9nevibes.com before check-in.

It’s never too soon! The earlier you implement structure and routine, the faster you set the foundation for a well-behaved dog for life.

We start working with puppies as early as 8 weeks old, adjusting our programs based on developmental stages and learning capacity.

Yes — we work with all our clients to make training accessible.

Most of our programs are ½ up front and ½ at completion, and we also offer Train Now, Pay Later options.

No — and any trainer who says they can is not being honest.

Training is a team effort. We can shape and guide your dog, but the other half is you.

Just like an athlete, if you don’t practice, you lose progress. If you stay consistent and apply what we teach, results will come.

But we can’t guarantee that you’ll do the work — that part’s up to you!

Yes and yes! We’re proud to be one of the few training companies in the area that is fully insured.

We regularly attend workshops, seminars, and continuing education courses to stay current with the latest methods and best practices in the dog training industry.
